What documents do I need to buy forex?
Your original passport, a valid visa or confirmed onward ticket, and your PAN card. Students also need the university admission letter. For sending money abroad you will also sign Form A2.
How do you decide the exchange rate?
Forex rates move through the day with the market. We WhatsApp you the live rate and every charge, including GST on currency conversion, in writing before you pay, so you can compare.
How much foreign currency cash can I carry?
Indian residents can buy up to USD 250,000 a year under RBI's Liberalised Remittance Scheme. For most countries, cash is limited to USD 3,000 per trip and the rest should be on a forex card.
Forex card or cash: which is better?
A forex card is safer, works in shops and ATMs abroad and locks in the rate when you load it. Carry some cash for taxis and small purchases on arrival. We can set up both.
Can I sell back leftover foreign currency?
Yes. Bring the notes and your passport. We show the buy-back rate first and you get rupees with a receipt. See our sell foreign currency page.
Do you offer forex trading or investment?
No. We only exchange currency for genuine travel, study, medical and family needs. RBI does not allow retail online forex trading except INR currency pairs on Indian exchanges, so avoid apps that promise forex profits.
