Generally coins and torn or heavily damaged notes cannot be bought. Clean, undamaged notes get the best rate.
Can I unload my forex card balance?
Yes. The balance can be unloaded and paid to your bank account in rupees, as per the card issuer's process. We can help you with it.
How long can I keep foreign currency after returning to India?
Under RBI rules, residents may keep up to USD 2,000 in foreign currency notes. Larger amounts should be sold or deposited within the time limit RBI allows. Ask us if you're unsure.
